Ceiling Bike Lift

Does anyone know how to build a hanging bike rack?

I'd like information on how to build a hanging bike rack.... You know, the ones that hang from the ceiling... I'm a sponsored BMX rider, and with a "growing collection" of bikes I need to store, a hanging rack would be good to have.

2. You can get them at Wal-Mart or online for pretty cheap, rather than build your own. They make them where it uses a pulley and you can pull a string to raise the bike all the way up to the ceiling or let it down to the ground with ease.
3. I just screw in big vinyl covered J hooks into my garage rafters or studs. < $1 each.
4. Here is another option, I used to hang my bikes from the ceiling but after a while they just took up too much room. I bought a bunch of these. http://www.performancebike.com/shop/profile.cfm?SKU=25350&subcategory_ID=6600 I mounted them on the wall and now the bikes take up a lot less space then when they hung, my nine bikes use only seven feet of wall space.
