Ceiling Bike Lift

How tall is a mans mountain-bike,from floor to highest part(seat/handlebars).?

Looking to buy a storage shed for my daughters bike,am going to buy a bike for myself also but want shed first(backward I know). can anyone please measure their bike and let me know. thanks First 3 answers-can you read the question again,need a figure!! floor-highest part of bike!! Thanks Kev

1. Bike sizes vary to cater for leg sizes best thing to do is contact your local cycle shop and ask them what is the tallest bike they sell.

3. You should be able to stand on the ground while on the bike, and the cross bar sould be just touching your groin.
4. Yes I can read, mine is four foot (4') tall. Most shed have about a 6 ft door.
